took my dog to mount road vets with a cough. He felt around my dogs body and recommended antibiotics straight away which i was reluctant to agree to because i know the side effects. He then mentioned steroids which he quickly retracted when he saw the surprise on my face. My dog is a young dog and was not on his last legs so that is totally unnecessary. He didnt mention steroids again. I know of 3 other dogs in my area who were put on steroids by this vet for itchy skin. These symptoms came on within a month of having vaccinations. Vaccinations interfere with the immune system and cause allergies, autoimmune diseases and itchy skin. One of those dogs died a terrible death after 5 years of steroids. One of the other dogs blew up to twice her size. She could hardly walk and i think shes dead cause I havent seen her for about a year. The other dog is still around but only because the owner is taking things into her own hands and detoxifying the dog after taking her off the seriously poisonous steroids. Steroids do make a lot of money for the vet as do vaccines. Another dog in my area ate some ivy and died despite the vets intervention. I dont think they have any imagination when it comes to saving your dog or cat. Dont think they have any idea about detoxifying dogs. They recommend putting pesticides in your dogs blood on a monthly basis to stop them getting flees. These pesticides kill flees but have they thought about what it does to our beloved pets on an an ongoing basis. There are homeopathic remedies that do no harm. When your dog/cat gets flees then deal with them. Alas and alack most vets are taught to commit these atrocities on our furry animals without a thought except for the money. We need to take responsibility for our pets.
